Hello! I’m Julian Andrews, 35 year old Multi-Media Journalist. I’m born and raised in Los Angeles. I currently work at KCBS2/KCAL9 sports and Spectrum News.

I began working with CBS after graduating from the University of La Verne. I received an internship with the Sports Department and was blessed to be added as a production assistant once I graduated. In this position, I’m able to witness a production be built from scratch from the efforts in pre and post production. At KCBS2/KCAL9 I write script, edit highlights, film practices, conduct interviews, and produce my content for the news shows for that day.

I’ve always had a love for sports as a child and it’s a dream come true to be around the sports environment. At spectrum news, I’m a videographer and work on all local news that’s happening in Los Angeles county. I’m able to film live shots with reporters and conduct interviews for the newscasts.

As I’ve grown in the media industry, my mindset for being creative has expanded beyond just sports, I enjoy working on various projects. It’s always an enjoyment to interact with others and to hear their views on what’s happening in the world. Sports has always showed me that teamwork and communication can get a job done.
